Here we will discuss two important paths for self-realization.One path of meditation is to firmly fix your attention in this moment. To not let yourself get caught up in thinking but rather to directly experience what is here beyond thinking and to remain in that. Do not try to stop thinking but rather keep your attention fixed on what is here beyond thinking, allowing the thoughts to go as as they arise. You could also simply dip in and out of that.

To let your focus rest in what is here beyond thinking for as long as is comfortable and then lose yourself in thinking again. To dip in and out of it
is very blissful, but if you want to be really intense about it you can keep your attention in this moment without allowing yourself to get caught up in thinking. This method will be uncomfortable, like trying to make a puppy be still when it wants to run all over the place. But with practice, if you can remain in that, then what first feels uncomfortable will begin to feel natural. You will burn away all of the tendencies that keep pulling you out of this moment until all that is left is this moment.

Another path would be to awaken bliss by focusing your attention on an object of bliss/shakti. Such as silently repeating a mantra or the name of a Guru, Saint or God or even repeating “I am” and focusing on the feeling of being. In doing this you awaken the Shakti, you awaken the bliss
and then you simply meditate on the bliss, letting your mind be focused on the repetition of the name/mantra and letting your attention move deeper and deeper into the bliss.

Both methods are valid.

If you practice awakening the bliss, then most likely at some point it will lead you to the first path of stillness and if you practice stillness, at some point it may turn into devotion. What is most important is that you give yourself fully to practicing it, allowing it to evolve on its own. Eventually both methods will be useless and you will simply fall into what is here. The radiance of this moment will become so strong that there will only be that.

Just as a physical body is washed with water, the mind is washed with meditation. Just like we apply soapy water to remove impurities in clothes, impurities in the mind are eliminated by the application of meditation. Physical body is an extension of the subtle mind, which is consciousness and reflection. The physical body is merely acting on the orders of consciousness as fate or the idea of knowledge through thought process of mind.

Consciousness acts in the spirit with the eternal spiritual inner knowledge that are unrelated to any form and language spoken in the world. Thought processes in mind also acts with subtle forms of scholarly knowledge and language.

Working knowledge with the thought of pure mind or inside knowledge of the eternal spiritual consciousness is always pleasant, even in the worst situation of the physical body. Physical body is an extension of the subtle mind. It is simply the record of the subtle mind to be connected with the physical world. All actions of the physical body are controlled by actions of the thought processes of the subtle mind. Shares of the thought processes of the subtle mind. can be controlled by actions of the physical body.

Physical Life is an extension of the subtle mind, which is consciousness and reflection. Physical life is merely acting under the orders of consciousness as the fate or the idea of knowledge through the thought process of mind. Acts of conscience in the spirit with the eternal inner spiritual knowledge are free from any form and language spoken in the world. The processes of thought in the mind also acts with subtle thought forms of academic knowledge and language. Thoughts to mind subtle process can not act at the same time, as eternal spiritual knowledge and awareness within the thought forms of knowledge and learned the language of civilization.

While acting with various evil desires, attachments and hatreds and fears with knowledge of the forms of thought and language, the subtle thought process becomes impure. The thought process is a dirty source of stress and sadness to the mind and disease in the physical body. The impure thought process can be washed with spiritual meditation.

Working knowledge with the thought of the pure mind or knowledge in the eternal spiritual consciousness is always welcome, even in the worst situations of the physical body. It is simply to connect the subtle mind to the physical world. All actions of the physical body are controlled by the actions of the thought processes of the subtle mind.

Speaking for the life of the organism depends on the order in mind. Without having thought in mind, the physical acts are not considered. The living body, just follow the orders of the thought processes in mind. The power of the life of the body can not create ideas to speak at the thought processes of the subtle mind.

The life of the organism ends on the order of thought to the subtle mind. Without silencing the subtle mind the physical acts cannot be ended. The power of the life of the body can not silence the mind of the subtle mind. It requires something like the organism.

Power of Physical life can not extend life or can end it desirably. Physical life continues or ends according to the orders of consciousness in the subtle mind. Power of the material life can not end the idea of wealth in the spiritiual life. The idea of wealth in mind is created by the awareness of fate. physical body has no direct connection to consciousness in the subtle mind. Before the physical life, support the birth of the thought process in mind. Thought processes persist for some time, even in the dead bodies.

Power of the material life can not follow the orders of knowledge without wisdom. Power of the material life can not continue at the same time the spiritual knowledge of the inner voice of conscience and thought forms of knowledge and understanding of language thought process in mind. Power of the material life under command of the unconscious in the intuitive mind. Power of the material life can not acquire the skills needed to escape the world. All actions of material life, just follow the orders of the mind in the consciousness of life, called life karma, which is happiness in all types and stages of life.

All our happiness in the mind and physical stress in life is still worrying due to the creation of impurity in our thought processes which we do not wash.

Meditation is the best way to improve yourself, by knowing your boundaries,
by knowing yourself you know the level of resistance within you.
When you meditate for a longer period of time, you come to the point
where you feel edgy. You might call the feeling boredom or antsy like you have had too much coffee to sit still.

A large part of meditation is to go beyond this feeling of resistance.

To continue to sit and allow these edgy feelings to be without
giving in to them. And in this, they burn away.

You sit still long enough, the body is going to want to move.
Instead of moving, you allow that feeling, you feel that feeling,
you allow and feel it so completely that you, as a separate person,
as a resistance to that feeling dissappears.

So it is that resistance that must be confronted. By allowing and witnessing,
you are confronting the ego itself, the tendency to separate,
to resist. And in surrendering to that you move beyond separation.

You as a separate person as stress and resistance itself will dissappear
and there will only be consciousness, there will only be peace.
Not as something you dip in and out of in enquiry or investigation,
but something that is permanantly burned away because you stick to it.

Because you dive deep into stillness without coming up for air.

For the experience of meditation to be endlessly fascinating and infinitely compelling, you have to be interested in nothing. Day in and day out, we are constantly pre-occupied with one thing or another, always busy with ‘something’. But if you want to experience profound meditation, and a depth that liberates, the objective of your attention must be nothing – absolutely nothing whatsoever. If you are attempting to meditate, but are not actually ‘interested’ in nothingness, then of course, you will be bored. That’s just like sitting in a darkened movie theatre, waiting for a film to start. Eventually, you will experience frustration and boredom in meditation in meditation. But imagine that you are sitting in that movie and instead of waiting for that film to begin, you become interested, passionately interested, in the darkness, in the nothingness.

There is ‘something’ in the nothingness that once discovered is infinitely compelling, and absolutely absorbing. The more deeply you are able to penetrate the nature of nothingness, the more the mystery of being and non-being, of life and death and that which transcends both begins to reveal itself. There is more to nothing than meets the eye. Once you truly become interested in the darkness, you wouldn’t want the movie to start. You might actually be disappointed when it started, because it would take you away from your meditation.

Why do you meditate? You meditate to remind yourself that you’re not a prisoner. You are not held captive by your own mind; nor are you imprisoned by your own emotions. It sounds simple, but it’s so easy to forget. If all you are aware of is the endless rollercoaster ride of thoughts and feelings, of course you will believe you are trapped.

The ground of being is a deeper, infinitely more subtle dimension of your own consciousness that simply cannot be perceived by the gross faculties of the conditioned mind and ego. You can’t see it; you can’t taste it; you can’t touch it. So even if you have directly experienced the unconditioned freedom of that empty ground, when you return to the world of conditioned mind and ego, you’re likely to doubt it. The mind simply cannot cognize this ground, and the ego cannot know it. That is why it’s very important to meditate as much as you can. If you meditate regularly with a strong intention, you will keep re-discovering that you’re not a prisoner. You cannot recognise that enough. Until your conviction in your own freedom is unwavering and you’re able to prove it through unbroken consistency in the way that you live, you need to keep having that experience. Each and every time you realise that you’re not a prisoner, it gives you a deeper confidence in the limitless inherent freedom of that empty ground that is your own deepest Self.

This album takes you on a musical journey like no other. Hitz has captured the ancient sounds of panpipes, tabla, bells, sitar and many other ambient resonances for those who wish to achieve a higher state of consciousness, greater focus and self-awareness through yoga & meditation, or simply to accomplish a more relaxed and peaceful state of mind. Surrender of The Mind is written for those of us who need to get away. Maybe we have had a tough day at work. Maybe we have studied hard. Maybe we need to reflect on certain events in our lives. Maybe we just need a moment to clear our minds and re-set our mental strength. No matter what the reason is, there comes a time when we all need to surrender our minds.

www.InstantHealingMeditation.com http This technique can take just 5 minutes. Most of the 30 minutes is for locating and targeting the area of the disturbance, eg a headache. This is the “detection” stage which requires being able to accuractely describe the stuck “stuff” or energy blockage. Robert Hover called this stuck energy “faint matter” or “faint substance.’ In other healing systems such as shamanism or pranic healing, they deal with the same types of blocks. The difference with Instant Healing Meditation is that the person is shown how to detect the obstruction in their own body and then taught how they can eliminate it on their own without any help from a shaman or energy healer of some kind. So IHM is the ultimate self-care system for health maintenance and self-healing. There really is nothing else like it. At this time, because Robert Hover was the only person who knew the technique for decades, literally about 2000 know of this technique in the entire world.

A lesson on tolerance is quite appropriate in these modern times when time itself appears to have sped up, and has seemingly become in short supply. Tempers flare more easily as parents find themselves in a hurry to leave home to be on time at the job and to earn funds for needs and wants.

It is difficult to find some serenity, and time for reflection, to just sit in meditation and let calmness descent on weary minds and bodies. There is often not enough time in the day, or so it seems, to get things done which need to be attended to. It is all a matter of prioritizing and doing the things which really are in need of attention. It is very important to slot some time into a busy daily schedule — to ‘smell the flowers’ so to speak. On the other hand, there are people who think that life is a long vacation, letting others worry about things, while they remain blissfully unaware and unawakened to the fact that life is an opportunity to learn lessons, as these lessons form the basis on which life in eternity is build.

“In the next stage of existence, the remedial process will be drawn out for much longer, as important lessons have not been learned here, and will ultimately come around in a different form — especially in the form of tolerance, when one comes into contact with people from other planets with unfamiliar life forms and habits. If you have not learned peace, and acquired a healthy dose of tolerance, and you have not developed broad-mindedness towards your kin on this planet, how are you going to tolerate others so different with any kind of capacity to rejoice in truth, beauty and goodness? Variety is the greatest delight of the Creator, who enjoys diversity above all, as God is the most complex being of all and desires to express the Self in the creation of offspring and not just humans alone, but also in the rich variety of all living things.

“The incidental lesson to be learned here is to have respect for all life forms. This is the reason why you are born on this beautiful garden planet in space — to learn to take care of mother earth and look after her well-being.

“The first important lesson in tolerance is learned in the family where the individual members learn to adjust to each other, and no one lords it over the other, and each is equally respected as a worthy child of the Creator God. An allowance is to be made for shortcomings and the elder ones are to show the younger ones by their loyalties in becoming a better human being. This is not a utopian dream; this is the reality on normal planets, where children function as each other’s teachers, and where great care and pride is taken in rearing the younger children, so they may become worthy citizens.

“Sadly, there are many throw-away children on this planet, which is an abomination to God’s heart. Each and every one is created in His image, meaning, with a potential soul. It is left to all elders to help these children by practicing tolerance and broad-mindedness to help each child in overcoming the handicaps of birth and to give them a fighting chance to succeed.
